The breakfast was full of LOVELY meals such as toast and cereals. The room was spotless and large and having TV set, coffee/tea making facilities, and a dining area in it was convenient. The staff, everyone, was fantastically friendly. The location was favourable there, in a quiet cul de sac.

Honestly no reason to complain. Ideal place for 1 night. The breakfast with good quality ingredients. Welcoming staff, particularly good location in a quiet cul de sac. Next to York and surrounding area and York's interesting quirky bars.

Lynne was a super nice host, really cute and helpful. The breakfast was just perfect, we got to choose what we wanted and it was cooked just right at the time we asked. Our room had everything we needed, clean and comfy. The flask of fresh milk was an awesome touch. Loved the little garden too! Perfect location for a quiet stay but still close enough to york.

Double room with garden view offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The garden is a pleasant escape from the outside chatter. Cozy feel after a long day of exploring, perfect for recharging.
Being next to a main road means some noise from passing vehicles. Light sleepers might want to pick a room away from the front. Slightly farther from downtown, but park and ride directions make it manageable. Walking back after a long day can feel like a trek.

The hosts were warm and friendly. The breakfast was served promptly and tasted fantastic, especially the sausages.
The only downside was that some common areas could use a little updating.

Great stay with awesome vibes!
We had such a nice time! Lynne and her partner were super cute and helpful! The lounge with those cozy Chesterfields was perfect. Super clean, and fresh milk in the room was a nice change. Breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages! Just wish the parking was a bit easier, but it was worth it for the stay.

It was just a suitable option for a stopover in York with high value for money. The breakfast was nice enough, but not high quality. Consider bringing a fan for better airflow in the room.
